"Dogs Of War" contest (march20,2005)
In essence, restraint is the key: to come up with a ver.ka-like kit. Yes, it will incorporate customized details, perhaps even weapons...but the basic look of the kit must
not be changed. no super cannons, no mega-armor add-ons. and it's not just a recolor, mind
you. the idea here is to come up with a plausible mass-prod variation or an officer's type
that isn't or ace legend. think of it as your normal sergeant or lieautenant, not an ace
commander.
All weapons used must also, then, be mass-produced, or could have easily been modified in
the field.
so, the rules so far:
1) Mass-production units are the base kits. no one-offs. no special production runs meant
for only one project or squad. no radically changed ace units. you guys get the idea.
2) paint jobs customized are a given, but that does not mean na paintjob lang.
3) weapons whould be either stock mass-produced weapons (even if they are not the standard
weapons for that unit) or Mass-produced weapons that have been modified in the field, and
that the mods are simple, practical mods.
4) body customization is of course allowed, but one must keep to the design philosophy of
the original kit, much like how katoki subtly but decisivley modified okawara's design. get?
5) Gundam kits only.
Remember guys, the idea here is true mass production.
Strict timeline rules.
And i meant that more advanced units can use older weapons, but older units cannot use
weapons ahead in the timeline - unless it is proven in canon that such units can a) actually
use the weapon and b) were still in service when weapon was used.
